Overview

Victorio Ortiz’s professional practice focuses mainly in Corporate and Business law.

With more than 15 years of professional experience, Victorio has led restructuring processes for corporate groups, mergers & acquisitions, as well as diligence processes for both general and specific compliance. Important part of his practice consists in implementing corporate governance structures, as well as leading negotiations of commercial matters aiming to avoid judicial controversies.

Victorio has led the formation, development and coordination of in-house legal departments for Mexican subsidiaries of international companies, and has substantially participated in post-merger integration processes, implementation of contracts management softwares, as well as the harmonization of global corporate practices and policies for Mexico and Latin America.

He acts as legal counsel for local and multinational clients in the negotiation of commercial agreements and the performance of its contractual obligations.
